About This

  • [INFO1] - A hybrid purple flowering wisteria, is a fast growing vine often used to grow on trellises & arbors. The Amethyst Falls Wisteria blooms in spring and sometimes again in summer. As a smaller growing wisteria variety, you will find it attractive in containers on porches or used on arbors and trellises.
  • [INFO2] - This purple wisteria is an American native plant can be trained into a tree-form wisteria. Grows about 1/3 the rate, of Asian wisteria, only to the 8 to 10 foot range. As with most hybrid wisteria, this American wisteria, generally blooms within 3 to 5 years after planting. It requires moderate water requirements and tolerates salt and alkali soils.
